Premium range of eZeebike electric bicycles coming to Australia
We're pleased to announce an expanded range of eZeebike models and component upgrades to end any doubts that we've got the country's best electric bicycles.
Last year we posted some high end options that were made available to eZeebike electric bikes, including the NuVinci continuous variable transmission, the Shimano Alfine 8 internal geared hub with hydraulic disc brakes and even a Titanium electric bicycle, the Torq T1. Following that we ordered some samples to try out. After testing these we've decided to add the Torq with the Shimano Alfine 8 gear hub and the Alfine hydraulic disc brakes to our range of stocked electric bicycles, naming it the Torq Alfine. This is a great addition to our range as it adds unmatched braking power and low maintenance, easy to shift hub gears onto one of the most acclaimed electric bicycles in the world, the continent-crossing eZee Torq. With Schwalbe Marathon Plus tyres, Shimano Deore drive chain and Shimano disc brakes, the torq was already arguably the electric bicycle with the highest specification of components in the country. Now the Shimano Alfine gears and hydraulic disc brakes put that beyond doubt. The Torq Alfine, will sell for $3200 with the 14Ah battery and arrives in June. Pre-orders are welcome to avoid missing out.
We are also ordering one very special Titanium electric bicycle, the Torq T1 for your gawking pleasure. Orders of course are welcome. At $6000 each we are unlikely to stock a great number of them!
Finally, all bikes will get some extra goodies now. It's hard to know what to improve on such great e-bikes but we found a few places to squeeze in extra greatness. The Sprint and Street will come with the AXA defender lock as standard. All Torqs will come with the Pletscher kick stand and Torq Alfine will also come with the super bright 700 lumen L700 headlight that runs directly off the e-bike battery.
