Event: Himalayan e-bike trip presentation and meet Ching, eZeebike CEO at glow worm bicycles
We have two exciting pieces of news which will both be celebrated at a social event next Friday July 29 from 6:30pm at the shop, 117 Addison Road Marrickville. So what's the news?
1 - Jeremy (from Glow Worm) and Jake (from Sydney Electric Bikes) along with a friend Nick, recently returned from an electric mountain biking trip in the Nepali Himalaya. The three adventurers took their mountain bikes with them to Nepal where they were met with three electric bike kits of different makes sent from the three respective manufacturers eZeebike, Daahub (Wisper) and Bionx. Come along and hear about their trip with photos, short videos and anecdotes from the riders about the first Himalayan e-bike expedition.
2 - Wai Won Ching, CEO of eZeebike, the supplier of most of our fine electric bicycles is making a short visit to Sydney to see us. Ching is a legendary character in the e-bike industry having immeasurably raised the standard of electric bicycles all around the world with his relentless pursuit of higher quality and more reliable electric bicycles. He's a character himself well worth meeting and has undertaken many electric bike rides himself, including 3000km in Africa, 6000km from Shanghai to Kasgar along the Silk Road and many others. His commitment to designing e-bikes to take on tough rides for breakfast has led to the naming of the "Ching Challenge", an annual 100 mile e-bike challenge held in Wales and dominated by eZeebike riders. Ching will be there on Friday night to hear about Jeremy and Jake's recent Nepal trip. It's a great opportunity, particularly for eZeebike owners to give feedback about what you like about your bikes and any ideas for innovation you may have.
Everyone is welcome to this informal event. It's okay to come late or to leave early. BYO drinks and nibbles.
