Folding pedals

These are the folding pedals that make up one of the folding steps for the eZeebike Quando folding e-bike.

Have you had a folding bike, electric or otherwise, with crappy, broken folding pedals? These are high quality folding pedals with standard 9/16" thread so can fit on almost any bicycle, folding or otherwise. It is often convenient to be able to fold up your pedals if you often put your bike in tight spaces when parking or transporting it. Pedals are often the first thing to make a bike get stuck on another bike or in a tight space. The trade-off to having folding pedals is that they do not feel as sturdy when pedalling. We have tried various folding pedals and these are definitely the best at feeling like normal pedals to the extent that we were able to ride the eZee Quando 700km from Canberra to Melbourne on these pedals without any complaints.

This is a 'push' type folding pedal, as opposed to a 'pull' type. This means that you push the end of the pedal towards the bike and then you can flip it up. This is easier than the pull types where you have to shove your fingers into little holes in the pedal. Push type folding pedals are easier to fold quickly, or with gloves on with minimal effort or flexibility, which is often handy if youre reaching around the bike to fold up the pedals.
