Bicycle Computer Cateye Velo 5
Every eZeebike except the quando folding electric bike comes standard with a Cateye cycle computer. The computer is mounted on the handlebar and displays your speed as you ride and counts up your km travelled on the odometer. This is always fun on bicycles and is especially useful for electric bicycles so that you can become intimately aware of how far you can go on your electric bike with your battery. Building up this knowledge and experience will help you plan more ambitious trips on your electric bike. It also helps to know when to expect to need to service your brakes and gears and other parts. When you bring in your bike or electric bike for a service, mechanics often want to know how much you use your bike weekly, in km, so that they can do the best job for your situation. For example, if you use it 50km every day then they're likely to change your pads even if they still have some meat left on them, to save you the inconvenience of coming straight back in a month later. If you only use it 10km per week then they'll leave that for next time. As well as speed and odometer, the Cateye Velo 5 can tell you:
"distance" - this is the trip distance, the distance in km that you have travelled since you last reset the trip readings (reset by holding down the big button)
"time" - this is the time, in hours and minutes, that the bike has been moving since you last reset the trip readings (by holding down the big button).
"max" - this is the max speed you have gone since you last reset the trip readings
"average" - as above, but average speed and based on when you were actually moving, doesn't count rests
