Glow Worm Electric Bikes have a fully equipped mechanical workshop, customised for electric and cargo bike. We service all electric bikes that we have sold. Our workshop is available to all customers who have purchased an electric bike from us. We're here to ensure that your electric bike is maintained to the highest standard, or repaired as quickly as possible, for a reasonable price.
Pricing for general servicing is shown below. If you purchased your electric bike from us, you're automatically a Glow Worm VIP & qualify for 25% off our general service labour fees.

The price of your service may be higher if your bike requires replacement parts (such as a new chain and brake pads) or additional labour for repairs. After inspecting your bike, we can provide a quote for all parts and labour before proceeding with your service.
All electric bikes need regular servicing in order to keep them safe, in good working order and to preserve warranties.
We recommend that a regularly used e-bike be fully serviced at least annually by our professional mechanics. This service will include a comprehensive bike inspection and clean, adjustment, repair and lubrication of parts, replacement of worn parts, testing of electrical systems, safety check and test ride.
An e-bike should be booked in for a service sooner if you are experiencing specific issues such as electrical problems, weak braking or braking noise, difficulties changing gears or repeat tyre punctures.
Bikes purchased from us receive a free, three-month minor service (after the purchase date) to ensure your new ride is working well.
How to make a booking
Our workshop workshop can get busy, so please contact us to make a booking before coming in.
Dropping off and picking up your bike
Please drop your bike off on its booking day before 11am. It's also fine to drop it in a few days before your service.
Keep in mind you'll need about 15 minutes when you arrive for us to talk to you about your bike and where possible, provide you with a quote before you leave.
For regular servicing, we will aim to service your bike on the scheduled day. We will call you when it is ready to pick up. If you haven't heard from us, please call before coming to pick it up in case it's still in progress.
If you can't make your booking, please let us know. The more notice we have, the sooner we can find another spot for you.
