Replacement bottom part of the case of Ezee vertical packs. Base plates are now supplied with longer bolts holding the terminals, so that two nuts can go on to lock them down tighter. However, if you are using this base plate on an older battery, you will need to re-use the shorter bolts that are in your existing base plate, or there won’t be enough clearance for the wires when you attempt to close the base plate shut. This is identifiable by the position of the exit hole of the wires to the rest of the battery. On new batteries, the exit hole is ‘low’ that is away from the rail side of the battery case. If in doubt, re-use your old bolts.
