Who we are

Glow Worm Electric Bikes is an Australian leader in providing and servicing electric commuter and electric cargo bikes.

It's our mission to help people get around by ebike. We want to help people switch to electric bikes because they are an easy, green, cheap, healthy, fast and fun way to move. We believe electric bikes allow people to ride further and more often than they otherwise would.

We are experts in electric bikes used for regular commuting, carrying children and hauling cargo.

Our history

We are widely recgonised as Australia's first electric bike store. Our Sydney store and workshop opened in 2009 we've since helped thousands of customers make the switch to an e-bike. We're particularly proud of the many families who have made the switch from a car to a greener and cheaper electric cargo bike. In 2021, we opened our second electric bike store and workshop in Melbourne.

We understand there is an overwhelming range of e-bikes available, so we'll help you narrow down your options and test ride the most suitable bikes. We want to see you find the right bike, not the most expensive one that doesn't suit your body of has features you don't need!

We believe it's possible to provide good value to customers whilst running a healthy and sustainable business.

After-sales support

Our workshop is here to support you for routine maintenance, repairs & warranty.

Every new bike purchased from us includes a free three-month service to make sure your bike is working well. With regular maintenance & servicing, we'll keep you riding for many years to come.

Every electric bike comes with a full manufacturer's warranty, so you'll be looked after in the unlikely event that anything goes wrong with your e-bike. Whilst warranty periods vary, most e-bikes have a one or two-year warranty on electrical and mechanical components and a longer warranty on bike frames.
