Parts & Accessories
Change of mind returns on parts & accessories will only be accepted if the item is unused and in original packaging.
We do not accept returns for change of mind on special orders.
To start a return for an in-store purchase, please bring the item back to the store, or contact us at info@glowwormbicycles.com.au.
To start a return for an online sale, please contact us at info@glowwormbicycles.com.au. If your return is accepted, we'll advise you to return the item to the store. Returns on items sent back without emailing first will not be processed. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. Once the item is received, unused and in original packaging, your return will be processed as either an exchange or a refund.
Exchanges: If the item being exchanged is of lesser value to the new item, we will send you an invoice or payment link for the difference. If the item being exchanged is of greater value to the new item, the difference can either be refunded, or remain on your customer account as store credit.
Refunds: Items that arrive damaged, defective or incorrect may not qualify for a refund. Please inspect your order when you receive it, and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item. Refunds will be processed either on your original payment method, or via bank transfer. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.
Electric bike components requiring adjustment will be adjusted or repaired in our workshop and do not qualify for a refund. Electric bike components that have been damaged through misuse do not qualify for a refund. Electric bike components that are faulty will be processed under manufacturer's warranty and do not qualify for a refund.
Electric bikes
All electric bike sales are final on customer pick up.
We do not accept returns for change of mind on electric bikes (excluding Lekker, see below).
We make every effort to ensure all electric bikes are functioning smoothly before leaving the workshop. If any part of your new electric bike is not functioning as it should, please contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and make it right. For more info see our Warranty page.
Lekker Returns Policy
We offer a 14 day / 50 km return policy on Lekker ebikes. From the date you receive your bike, you have 14 days or 50 km of riding, whichever comes first, to try it out. If
the Lekker isn’t right for you, you can return it to us. Please note that original shipping costs are non-refundable, and an additional shipping fee may apply to return the ebike to us.
If your return is approved, Glow Worm will refund the amount paid, less any shipping fees that may apply.
Condition of returned bikes
To be eligible for a return, your Lekker eBike must be in “as new” condition and must not
exceed the 50 km limit or the 14-day period. On receipt, our mechanic will inspect
the bike for signs of major use or damage. A full refund (less any shipping fees) will be issued if the bike is received in showroom condition.
