E-bikes are heavier and faster than ordinary bikes, so they wear chains, brakes and tyres more quickly and they need servicing more often. Batteries need looking after too, and most of what shortens a battery's life is avoidable. Our workshop has been servicing electric bikes since 2009 — these guides are what we've learned from the bikes that come back to us.
